LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has expanded free Wi-Fi Services in the province.
According to a Spokesperson for the Safe City Authority, the provision of free Wi-Fi Services has been initiated at over 230 locations across Lahore, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, and Sheikhupura.
Under the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, the scope of free Wi-Fi Services in the province is continuously expanding.
The Safe City Spokesperson said that free Wi-Fi Service is being provided at 200 points in Lahore, 10 points in Kasur, 15 in Sheikhupura, and 5 in Nankana Sahib.
In the last three months, 7.7 million users have consumed 111 TB of data.
The Spokesperson further mentioned that the free internet service is aiding education, business, and social connections. He emphasized that Punjab is on its way to becoming a digital province with free Wi-Fi Service being a significant step in this direction.
Citizens are benefiting from this service, making their daily lives easier, he added.
