RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Commander of the Polish Armed Forces Lieutenant General Jaroslaw Mika called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan Army’s General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the meeting, the two armed forces chiefs discussed issues of mutual interest including defence, training and security cooperation between the two armies.

The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan army’s professionalism, efforts in fight against terrorism and contributions towards regional peace and stability.Polish Armed Forces Commander hails Pakistan army’s professionalism

Earlier, on arrival at GHQ, the Commander of the Polish Armed Forces laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

The Contingent of Pakistan Army presented the guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
