NationalPakistani lawmakers reaffirm unity to squash Indian designs

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The lawmakers on Tuesday reiterated their utmost support to the armed forces, saying that they stand united for Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and to foil India’s nefarious designs.

While speaking on the floor of the National Assembly in Islamabad, the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said that India just like the past resorted to cowardly act in the darkness of night but Pakistani Air Force (PAF) gave a befitting response and forced the Indian aircraft to retreat.

Ali Muhammad Khan said that Pakistan is a peace loving Country but our desire for peace should not misconstrue as our weakness.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and the former Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on the floor of the House that despite political differences, we are united for Pakistan.

“Let’s forget our differences for some time and stand behind our armed forces and give message across the border that we are united behind Kashmiris,” he said.

Khawaja Asif said that Indian aircrafts violated the Line of Control (LoC), and it is obligation of the government to provide details about the Indian intrusion.

The PML-N leader also demanded the summoning of the Joint Parliament Session immediately to chalk out a strategy against imminent threats from India.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah said that we stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the security and defense of the motherland.

Khursheed Shah said that we are in a war like situation and a joint session of the Parliament should immediately be convened to discuss the security situation. He said that if India can violate Pakistani airspace, we also have the capability to hit far deep inside India.
