SKARDU, Pakistan: The Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Wednesday said that in case of any misadventure from the enemy, Pakistan would give such a befitting response that would be remembered for ages.

The remarks were made by the Air Chief when asked to comment by media representatives on the Indian Air Chief’s recent statement during his visit to Qadri Air Base in Skardu.

The Indian Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa asked 12,000 officers of the Indian Air Force through a letter that be “prepared for action at a very short notice,” the India media reported last Sunday.

Talking to media persons at Qadri Air Base in Skardu, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that Pakistan was a peace loving Country but if adversary went for any misadventure.

“Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is the battle-hardened force and we continue to ensure our operational preparedness 24/7,” he said.

Sohail Aman said that PAF had proven to be the best in the world by carrying out Operation Zarb-e-Azb in a highly professional manner for last two and an half years without even a single incident of collateral damage.

The Chief of the Air Staff said that while in the world, collateral damages are reported in such kind of military operations carried out by top world forces.

The Air Chief said that PAF was in complete synergy with its sister Armed Forces to carry out all operations to fight against terrorism.

Meanwhile, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman reviewed exercises and operational preparedness of Pakistan Air Force. He took part in the exercises and flew Mirage aircraft for around 20 to 35 minutes, which is almost a 60-year old fighter jet.

The Air Chief told media that said exercises were the part of PAF’s routine training.

The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
