RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia H.E Mr. Adel Ahmed M. Al-Jubeir and the Foreign Minister of United Arab Emirates (UAE) H.E Mr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that matters of mutual interest including growing bilateral ties and security situation in the region were discussed.

The COAS highlight that Pakistan is proud of its special strategic and brotherly relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and UAE.

The visiting dignitaries appreciated Pakistan’s role for peace and stability in the region and assured of their full support to resolve the situation created by India’s unilateral steps in Indian occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K).

The foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and UAE arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday to discuss the regional security situation with particular reference to Kashmir.

The visiting dignitaries initially held delegation level talks with the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and later met Prime Minister Imran Khan.
