TEHRAN, Iran: In line with Pakistan’s maritime tradition and to further strengthen the existing warm and cordial bilateral relations, a Pakistan Navy Flotilla commanded by the Commander Submarines of Pakistan Navy Commodore Khan Mahmood Asif will dock at Bandar Abbas in Iran from April 3-6, 2021.
Pakistan Navy Flotilla’s visit to Iran is aimed at enhancing maritime collaboration between the navies of the two Countries.
The ships are bringing warm wishes and a message of solidarity, peace & prosperity for the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the region.
The port call of Pakistan Navy Ships to the Islamic Republic of Iran is a regular feature.
In 2019, three Pakistan Navy Ships PNS KHAIBAR, PNS RAH NAWARD, and PMSS ZHOB visited the Bandar Abbas.
During the visit, the Pakistan Navy delegation will hold meetings with the Naval and Military leadership of Iran on bilateral relations at Bandar Abbas.
On completion of port call, Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Navy and Pakistan Navy will conduct a bilateral exercise off Bandr Abbas on April 6, 21.
A diplomatic reception will be jointly hosted by HE Ambassador Rahim Hayat Qureshi and Commodore Khan Mahmood Asif onboard Pakistan Navy Ship for Ambassadors, Military Attaches, Diplomats, Iranian military and Civil officials, media persons, and Iranian/ Pakistani community members.
The port call by Pakistani ships is a testimony of growing security and defense relationships between Iran and Pakistan.
The visit of the Pakistan Navy ships to Bandar Abbas enables both navies to enrich themselves from mutual experiences and enhance cooperation in future endeavors.
