NationalPakistan is not worried about any threat from India: Air Chief

KARACHI, Pakistan: The Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that Pakistani soldiers are battle hardened and we are not worried about any threat from the Indian side.

Talking to the media representatives at Expo Centre Karachi on Thursday where he visited to witness 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2016, the Air Chief, however, said that it will be better for India to pursue the course of dialogue for resolution of outstanding Kashmir dispute.

Sohail Aman said that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any Indian aggression.

Responding to a question, the Air Chief said that Pakistan has signed an agreement with Turkey for provision of Super Mushahk aircraft to the friendly country. He said that negotiations are also continuing with different countries for the sale of JF-17 fighter jets.

His statement comes a day after a Shell fired by Indian forces hit a passenger bus near the Line of Control (LoC) in Neelum Valley and left 10 Civilians dead and 21 injured.

Separately, three Pakistani soldiers were also martyred in exchange of fire with the Indian forces along with LoC.
