ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ministry of Interior has granted a one-year extension to the Indian Woman Anju who had arrived in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Upper Dir district to spend time with her online Pakistani friend Nasrullah.
The 35-year-old Anju from Kailor area of Indian northern Uttar Pradesh State developed a friendship with 29-year-old Nasrullah on Facebook which subsequently turned into a love affair.
Last month, she arrived in Kulsho village of Upper Dir to meet Nasrullah.
Reportedly, Anju was a divorced Christian woman but she converted to Islam and re-named herself as Fatima before marrying Nasrullah.
Holding valid travel documents while traveling to Pakistan and earlier allowed to stay for a month, Fatima has now been granted a one-year visa extension.
The reports said that, according to Nasrullah, Anju-turned Fatima has got a one-year extension after the Interior Ministry accepted her request.
“I have fulfilled all requirements and hopefully one-year visa extension has been received,” Nasrullah said in an interview with a journalist in Islamabad.
“There has been full cooperation with us and all institutions are cooperating with us and supporting us,” he added.
