NationalPakistan capable to defend its territory: Maulana Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Chairman Kashmir Committee and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Thursday said Pakistan is fully capable to defend its territory and thwart any external aggression.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, Fazlur Rehman said, India was trying to disturb regional peace by threatening Pakistan but our armed forces are fully equipped to reply the aggression of India and International community should listen the voice of Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmiri for their right to self-determination.

He said Kashmiri people are struggling against Indian atrocities demanding their just right to plebiscite and international community must exert pressure of India to honor the UN resolutions and stop violation of human rights in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

He said Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) supported Pakistan’s stand on Kashmir and called upon world nations to ensure them their just right and stop India from war mongering.

Replying a question, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said International community should notice the violation of human rights in Indian Occupied Kashmir and send clear message to India that their point of view about Kashmir was against the UN resolutions.

He urged the Indian leadership to adopt a sensible approach and respect its commitment made to Kashmiri people at the United Nations as the policy of aggression against innocent people shall also not be in favor of India itself.
