Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the COAS visited Line of Control (LoC) on Friday and reviewed the state of preparedness.

In a tweet, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) lauded high moral of troops.

Pakistan is a peace loving country but we will not be intimidated or coerced. Any aggression or misadventure shall be paid back in same coin,” the COAS said according to the director general ISPR.

Earlier in the day, the director general ISPR addressing a media briefing in Rawalpindi, wherein he said that Pakistan does not want war with India but if India starts aggression against us it should be ready for a surprise.

The DG ISPR said that the response of Pakistan army will be different from Indian expectations as we are a battle hardened army and know the capability of neighboring Country well.

Let me now talk to military strategy planners across now. Please be rest assured, should you initiate any aggression. First, you shall never be able to surprise us. We are ready, in response we shall for sure surprise you.

We shall dominate the escalation ladder. We shall have superior force ratio at decisive pts. Never think that we shall fall short of capacity.

We have singleness of conception all across from PM to a common citizen including all political parties and other segments of society from our chiefs down to soldiers. We have the will and the determination.

We have the ways and means for the end state.

We are ready to respond to full spectrum threat.

I hope you get us and don’t mess with Pakistan,” the director general ISPR said in a particular reference to Indian threats of waging a war against Pakistan after Pulwama attack on February 14.
