RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) has said that Pakistan armed forces are in a state of readiness for all eventualities.

In a press release issued on Thursday, the ISPR said that due to prevailing environment, Pakistan army troops are at high alert along the Line of Control (LoC) with all required safeguards along the eastern border in place to thwart any Indian aggression.

The said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN) continue to stay fully alert.

It said that during the last 48 hours, Indian troops resorted to increased cease fire violations in KOTLI, Khuiratta and Tatta Pani Sectors along the LoC. It said that Pakistan army troops responding effectively.

“Reports of casualties to Indian forces and damage to Indian posts,” it added.

Furthermore, the ISPR said that Indian deliberate firing on civilians resulted into shahadat of four citizens and two injured.

The IPSR asked the public to stay mindful about rumour mills and stay responsible in use of social media.
