LONDON: Pakistan Navy Ship ZULFIQUAR departed Her Majesty’s Naval Base Portsmouth in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning to participate in the Pakistan Navy-Royal Navy (PN-RN) bilateral White Star Exercise in British waters off the coast of England.
The White Star Exercise aims at enhancing interoperability and learning from each other’s experiences on maritime security operations while demonstrating combined sea manoeuvres.
Thereafter, the ship will set course to its next destination towards the Baltic Sea.
The Ship ZULFIQUAR stayed at Portsmouth for two days.

#PakNavy Ship also conducted 3rd PN-RN Bilateral Naval Ex WHITE STAR-III with Royal Navy Ship off Portsmouth. Exercise encompassed advanced Maritime manoeuvre and was aimed to enhance interoperability & strengthen bilateral relations b/w two navies. (2/2)

Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK Moazzam Ahmad Khan also visited the Ship Zulfiquar and received a briefing about the visit.
Moazzam Ahmad Khan expressed well wishes to the Mission Commander and the crew of the ship.
The High Commissioner hoped such visits would further strengthen Pakistan-UK defence, security, and diplomatic ties.
