RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Staff Sultans Armed Forces, Sultanate of Oman, Lieutenant General Ahmed Bin Harith Al-Nabhani held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan’s army general headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement that during the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed the issues of mutual interest.

The visiting dignitary appreciated the success gained by Pakistan army in the war against terrorism. He also eulogized the efforts of Pakistan army for regional peace and stability.

Earlier on his arrival at GHQ, the Chief of Staff of Sultanate of Oman was presented a guard of honor by a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan army.

Lt General Ahmed Bin Harith general laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada (Martyrs Monument) to pay homage to the martyrs.
