RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Military Advisor to the Saudi Defence Minister Major General Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi met the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan army’s general headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that during the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional security and measures to further enhance Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral defence collaboration including training exchange program were discussed.

The COAS affirmed Pakistan Army’s support towards capacity building of Royal Saudi Land Forces.

The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan Army’s valuable contributions particularly towards regional peace and stability.

The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan H.E Mr Nawaf Saeed Al Malkiy was also present during the meeting.
