RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Pakistan Barlybay Sadykov held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at army’s general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

In a short statement, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that matters of mutual interest including regional security issues were discussed during the meeting.Kazakh envoy meets COAS, discusses regional security issues

It is pertinent to mention here that in November 2017, the Ministry of Defence of Pakistan and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a joint plan of action in Astana for military cooperation for year 2018.
