NationalIT establishes computer Labs at Sweet Homes

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has established Computer Labs at Sweet Homes run by Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal across the country.

The inauguration ceremonies held at Kohat, Mardan, Manshera, Attock, Karachi, Nawabshah, Quetta, Dipalpur, Gujrat, Sargodha were attended by people from various segments of society, said a press release issued here on Monday.

While inaugurating the Computer Labs at these centers, the parliamentarians have thanked Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Minister for IT Anusha Rahman for providing long lasting, invaluable gift to the children of these sweet homes.

They said that the children will benefit from the fruits of digital era at their very early stage to become potential contributor of economy.

“These labs would go a long way in creating a Digital Culture in the centers by providing an enabling environment for the growth of Pakistan” they said.

Anusha Rahman said, “In alignment with the vision of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, PML-N government is committed towards an all inclusive society. We are aiming at providing digital infrastructure for all segments of society.”

She said, the government wanted benefits of digital growth to all segments of society.

“Through technological capacity building, the children of sweet homes will prove to be great asset for the economic engine of the country” she added.
