ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Directorate of Passport and Immigration (DPI) has temporarily suspended the issuance of 100-page Machine Readable Passports for some “unavoidable reasons”.
In a post on the microblogging website X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday, the DPDI asked the applicants to submit applications seeking the 36-page or 72-page Passport only to avoid any inconvenience.
“The passport department apologizes for this temporary inconvenience,” the post stated.
