LAHORE, Pakistan: Lahore division Commissioner Abdullah Khan Sunbal said on Wednesday that inauguration of newly-built Greater Iqbal Park in the City would be held on December 17 (Saturday).

While presiding over a meeting held in Lahore to review inaugural arrangements at Greater Iqbal Park, he said that the park would be proved a milestone for the culture, history and heritage of the country.

The commissioner said that all the development and renovation work of park had been completed.

He said besides its own security measures, the park’s security has also been associated with Safe City project.

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Director General Mian Shakeel Ahmad, Additional Commissioner Usman Khan, Managing Director Habib Construction Company Mukhtar Nazir and other officials attended the meeting.
