ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In the last 24 hours, 12 more people lost their lives and two people injured due to flash flood across the Country, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) data.

The data states that six people died in Sindh, three in Balochistan, two in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and one in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). While both the injuries occurred in Balochistan.

Up till now, a total of 1,355 persons have been killed and 12,722 have suffered wounds throughout the Country in rain and flood-related incidents.

Similarly, 1,712,514 houses, 6,579 kilometers roads and 246 bridges have been damaged while 753,187 livestock have been killed in floods.

The NDMA data further states that in Sindh, Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Khairpur, Dadu, Noshero Feroz, Thatta and Badin remain to be the worst affected districts.

While Quetta, Naseerabad, Jafarabad, Jhalmagsi, Bolan, Sohbatpur and Lesbela districts in Balochistan and Dir, Swat, Charsadda, Kohistan, Tank and Dera Ismail Khan districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the most affected ones.

In Punjab, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts have been affected the most.
