ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An earthquake struck the Federal Capital of Islamabad on Monday afternoon.
Reportedly, strong tremors were also felt in Central Punjab including Lahore and northern parts of the Country.
The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.6 on Richter Scale and its depth was measured at 10 kilometers with the epicentre being Gondoh Bhalessa, Jammu and Kashmir.

The earthquake also joled nearby Countries including India and China.
On May 28, 2023, a 6.3 magnitude earthquake jolted Pakistan which was the fourth earthquake within a month.
