In total, Rs 38,002 million have so far been disbursed to 11,351 applicants by banks under the Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Housing Loan Scheme.
The details about the Housing Finance Loans being given by banks to the applicants on subsidized rates as per the government’s Markup Subsidy Scheme (G-MSS) are as under:
Tier 0 (0)
- House up to 125 square yards (5 Marla) and flat/apartment with the maximum coveted area, up to 1,250 square feet (Non-NAPHDA applicants).
- Total loan size is Rs 2.0 million and the tenor is 5 to 20 years.
- Markup on loan is 5% for the first 5 years & 7 % for the next 5 years and for the remaining period KIBOR + 700 BPS.
Tier 1 (T1)
- House/Flat/Apartment up to 125 square yards (5 Marla) with covered area, up to 850 square feet (NAPHDA applicants).
- Total loan size is Rs 2.7 million and the tenor is 5 to 20 years.
- Markup on loan is 3% for the first 5 years & 5 % for the next 5 years and for the remaining period KIBOR + 250 BPS.
Tier 2 (T2)
- House up to 125 square yards (up to 5 Marla) and flat/apartment with covered area, up to 1,250 square feet (Non-NAPHDA applicants).
- Total loan size is Rs 6.0 million and the tenor is 5 to 20 years.
- Markup on loan is 5% for the first 5 years & 7 % for the next 5 years and for the remaining period KIBOR + 400 BPS.
Tier 3 (T3)
- House up to 250 square yards (10 Marla) and flat/apartments with covered area, 2,000 square feet (Non-NAPHDA applicants).
- Total loan size is Rs 10.0 million and the tenor is 5 to 20 years.
- Markup on loan is 7% for the first 5 years & 9 % for the next 5 years and for the remaining period KIBOR + 400 BPS.
