ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Commander of Azerbaijan’s Naval Forces Rear Admiral Subhan Bekirov visited the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday and met the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.

In the meeting, the two dignitaries exchanged views on matters of mutual interests and the regional security situation.

The visiting dignitary commended Pakistan Navy’s role in maritime security and stability.

Earlier upon his arrival, the Commander of Azerbaijan’s Naval Forces was presented a guard of honour.

Rear Admiral Subhan Bekirov laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument.
