RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday said that Pakistan comes first then any individual or the institution.

While interacted with officers and recruits including from Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (FC KPK) undergoing training at the Baloch Regimental Center (BRC) in Abbottabad, the COAS said that Pakistan army shall continue to contribute towards the national security.

The COAS reiterated his vision for better Pakistan where nothing takes precedence over the Country, according to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Earlier on arrival at the BRC, the COAS was received by Commander Rawalpindi Corps Lieutenant General Nadeem Raza. The Commandant Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Major General Abdullah Dogar was also present.COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa  laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to martyrs of Baloch Regiment

The COAS laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhuda to pay homage to martyrs of Baloch Regiment who laid their lives for the defence of the motherland.

The Army Chief expressed pleasure and honour to be at home of Balochis. He said that he has very special attachment with Baloch Regiment being second generation officer as his father was also an officer from Baloch Regiment.
