PABBI, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the National Counter-Terrorism Center in Pabbi on the last day of Pak-Russia Joint Training Exercise ‘Druzhba-III’.

The 15-day Pak-Russia Joint Training Exercise focused on Counter-Terrorism Training of Special Operation Forces of Pakistan & Russia while exchanging mutual Counter-Terrorism experiences.

“Exercise is great forum to reinforce existing relationship between the two militaries”, the COAS was quoted as saying to the participants of the military exercise by the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor in a tweet on Monday.

The Pak-Russia Joint Training Exercise ‘Druzhba-III’ began on October 21 and concluded on November 4 in Pabbi, a Tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera District.

The Exercise ‘Druzhba-III’ was held at the altitude of 1.4 thousand meters above sea level in Pabbi.

This was the third exercise as part of the Pak-Russia bilateral training cooperation. The first exercise was held in Pakistan during 2016 while the second was held in Russia during 2017.
