PESHAWAR, Pakistan: A Chinese Company Star Asia has offered the provision of cheap electric buses for the people of Peshawar, the Capital City of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The offer was made in a meeting of the delegation of Chinese company with District Nazim Peshawar here Monday.

The delegation was comprised of vice president of the company, Shen Deanva, Senior Manager, Yipeng, Senior Vice President, Zwangyu, CEO Javed, Amjad Ali of Chenab Metro Bus Service, Operation Head KP, Syed Abid Hussain while district members, Arshad Shinwari, Niamatullah, Taqdeer Ali and others were also present on the occasion.

The delegation of the Chinese company while offering the provision of Star Asia bus service for the people of Peshawar requested cooperation from the district government.

Briefing the District Nazim, the Chinese delegation told about their modern buses including double dragon, which are latest than other bus services which will provide cheap and quality travelling facilities.

The delegation also invited the District Nazim Peshawar for a visit to Peoples’ Republic of China to inspect these modern buses.

Speaking on the occasion, District Nazim Muhammad Asim Khan said that China Pakistan relations are exemplary since past and thanked the company for contacting them with positive thinking and provision of cheap and quality travelling facilities to the people of Peshawar.

In this connection, the committee will soon meet Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Provincial Minister for Local Bodies to contact the provincial government formally. In case of the reaching of agreement, the district government will take measures for the provision of security and accommodation to the company.

Later, the delegation also presented a model of the Star Asia Bus to the district nazim.
