RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chairman Security Services of Uzbekistan Lieutenant General Azizov Abdusalom Abdumavlonovich held a meeting with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Pakistan’s Army General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) agency reported.
As per the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the meeting the two dignitaries discussed defence and security cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
They also discussed the overall regional situation.
The ISPR said that the two sides agreed to enhance Pakistan-Uzbekistan military level contacts and trainings besides undertaking joint steps for eradication of terrorism.
