ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The former Prime Minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has been arrested in Al-Qadir Trust Case from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday afternoon.

Imran Khan was arrested by the Rangers when he arrived at the IHC to seek bail in multiple First Information Reports (FIRs) registered against him.

In a Twitter statement, the PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry said that the former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been abducted from the Court’s premises while scores of lawyers and general people have been tortured.Chairman PTI Imran Khan arrested

Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran Khan has been whisked away by unknown people to an unknown location.

The PTI leader said that the Chief Justice IHC Justice Aamer Farooq has ordered the Secretary Interior and Inspector General of Police (IGP) to appear within 15 minutes in the Court.

The PTI leader Hammad Azhar said that Imran Khan’s arrest was “not acceptable” and asserted that the PTI Chief “is our red line”. He called on the nation to take to the streets against Imran Khan’s arrest.
