NationalBook Qurbani Online for Eid Ul Azha 2020

The faithful will act upon the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) and his son Hazrat Ismail (AS) on Eid Ul Azha to be celebrated on August 1, 2020 in Pakistan by sacrificing cattle.

However, amid the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic which has infected a total of 267,427 people across Pakistan and taken 5,677 lives by July 21 in addition to the SOPs devised by the government to alleviate the virus impact, strict compliance with the Sunnah wouldn’t be a convenient task as it has been before.

The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has imposed Section 144 against the illegal Cattle Markets as it has allowed the establishment of only four Cattle Markets in Bhara Kahu, Taramri, Rawat and Tarnol area of the City.

As per the Deputy Commission Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat, if anyone is found violating Section 144, he may be penalized with six-month imprisonment and a fine up to Rs 100,000.

In view of the SOPs enforced by the government to curtail COVID-19 spread and illegal Cattle Markets having been banned, the people of Islamabad/Rawalpindi may opt to avail the online facilities of booking orders for Qurbani (Sacrifice).
