NationalBlast at POF Wah, three employees killed

WAH CANTT: Three employees were killed and two suffered injuries when a blast went off in one of the plants at Pakistan Ordinance Factory (POF) in Wah on Thursday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a statement, the ISPR said that the explosion was accidental and caused by a technical fault.

The ISPR said that the injured employees were evacuated and taken to the hospital.

It further said that the accident area has been cleared and the situation has been controlled by the POF technical emergency response team.
