BAJAUR, Pakistan: The tribesmen of Mamond tribe Bajaur Agency have pledged to support the security forces to protect their mother land from India and any other foreign aggression.

They made the announcement during an anti-India rally held in Inayat Kalley. The demonstration, said to be one of the massive anti-India rally in the tribal areas, was attended by workers of various political and religious parties, members of the peace committees, traders and students.

Holding national flags, placards and banners inscribed with slogans against India and in favour of Pakistan Army, the participants started marching from different areas of Mamond tehisl and converged at Inayat Kally bazaar. The protesters also changed slogans against Indian government and it’s prime minister for issuing threatening statements against Pakistan.

Local tribal political activists Gul Zafar Khan Baghi, Usman Khan Mamondzai, Muhammad Saleem Khan, Aziz Khan and several others addressed the demonstration. Pledging their full support to Pak Army in defending of their mother land from any foreign aggression, the speakers stressed the need of supporting the security forces in fighting against India and others anti state elements.

They said that the people of Bajaur Agency were brave, true patriot and loyal to the country and had always rendered sacrifices of their lives when the country faced aggression from its enemies, will back the forces if the India resort to attacking Pakistan.

The tribal politicians mentioned that the people of Bajaur Agency are devoted to support their forces and will demonstrate their bravery against foreign aggression with the same spirit and courage which had performed in the past. They said that Pakistan was their mother land no one would be allowed to attack on it.

The tribal elders asked the Indian government to stop issuing anti- Pakistan statement and avoid unproved firing at the line of control. They mentioned that such statements and firing at the line of control by the Indian government can ignite war in the region which was not in the interest of the people of both the country.

The unanimous resolution against India passed by different political parties in the All parties conference have proved that all the political parties are on the same page to defend the country from any foreign aggression.

The United Nation and international community should put pressure on India to shun the violence inside Kashmir and resolved the dispute in accordance with Kashmiris’ aspirations by implementing the resolution of United Nations.
