NationalATC orders Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri's assets to be seized

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad on Friday issued orders for the properties of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahirul Qadri to be seized for repeatedly failing to appear in hearings of terrorism cases registered against them.

The ATC on Friday issued notices to the relevant police stations and revenue boards to carry out its orders.

On February 03, an ATC issued perpetual warrants of arrest against Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri in the case related to an attack on a senior police officer during the 2014 sit-ins.

The ATC judge Sohail Ikram issued the perpetual arrest warrants after the police submitted a report stating that the suspects could not be arrested despite issuing the proclamation.
