ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: It what appears to be commendable development, another Waziristani martial arts player has broken the Guinness World Record.

The national mixed martial arts fighter Zeeshan Mehsood sets the record of the most double leg takedowns (wrestling) in one minute. He registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for doing 37 double leg takedowns (wrestling) in one minute.

Zeeshan Mehmood sets the record in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The National missed arts fighter belongs to the long-neglected South Waziristan, a tribal district of KP, who achieved this milestone despite the dearth of basic facilities. This is Zeeshan’s first record and he dedicated this award to his country.

He is the student of the leading Pakistani martial arts expert and world record holder Irfan Mehsud, who has already won the 38th Guinness World Record.

Irfan recently sets the hardest world record for star jumps, weighing 60 pounds and doing 27 star jumps in one minute. This world record broken by Irfan Mehsud was earlier 22 star jumps.

Keep in mind that Irfan Mehsud is the only player in the world to set the record for most push-ups. He has also broken the records of India, the USA, Iraq, the UK, the Philippines, and Italy.
