ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Ali Nawaz Awan has directed the concerned the authorities to expedite the work on development projects in the Federal Capital and ensure their earliest completion.
In a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday, the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, the Monitoring Officer from the Planning Ministry, and the CDA & local government Officials briefed the Special Assistant about the issuance of No-Objection Certificate (NOC) for the development works.
The Member Engineering CDA and CDA Developing Wing gave a briefing on the development projects initiated by the authority in Islamabad.
The Special Assistant was apprised about the completion of the work on G-7/8 Underpass and Burma Bridge, upon which he appreciated the performance of the CDA Officials.
Ali Nawaz Awan was also briefed in detail by the CDA Officials about the construction work on Korang Bridge, PWD Interchange, Rawal Dam Flyover, Malal Bridge at Lehtarar Road, Kiyani Bridge in Bhara Kahu, and 10th Avenue, and the duration of their completion.
On the occasion, the Special Assistant issued directives to complete the work on the installation of pedestrian bridges at Peshawar Morr Itwar Bazar, PIMS Hospital, and from G-9 over F-9 Park at the earliest.
Ali Nawaz Awan said that all hindrances must be removed to initiate the work on the development projects immediately for their timely completion in the view of public interest.
