ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu has been appointed as the new Chief of Air Staff (CAS) of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

Besides, Air Marshal Haseeb Paracha has been appointed as the Vice Chief of Air Staff.

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu will take charge of his Office from Friday (March 19, 2021) after the retirement of the incumbent PAF Chief Air Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan.

Earlier in the day, President Dr. Arif Alvi conferred the award of Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Civil) on the Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan at a Special Investiture Ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
