RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi paid his farewell visit to the Joint Services Headquarters (JSHQ) in Rawalpindi on Saturday, and met the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza.
In the meeting, the CJCSC thanked the outgoing Naval Chief for his services to the nation during a long and illustrious career.
It’s worth mentioning that Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi has been appointed as the new Chief of Naval Staff.
The Vice Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi will succeed Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi who will relinquish the Command of Pakistan Navy on October 7.
The Change of Command Ceremony will be held at PNS ZAFAR in Islamabad.
