National7,000 policemen to perform duty on PTI rally at Raiwind

LAHORE, Pakistan: Police have made foolproof security arrangements for Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) rally at Raiwind.

This was said by CCPO Captain (retd) Muhammad Amin Vains on Thursday during a meeting with PTI leaders regarding the security plan.

He said 7,000 policemen would perform duty and participants will be allowed to enter the rally after complete body search at three places.

He said a special control room would be set up to monitor the rally.

On this occasion, DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf said SP Security would be the focalperson for all security related matters. Traffic Police have made three points for parking where traffic wardens would be deputed.

PTI Leaders Mian Aslam Iqbal MPA, Shoaib Siddiqi MPA, Ijaz Dyial, Malik Zaheer Abbas and Khalid Mehmood were also present in the meeting.
