In a press release, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Corps Commanders’ Conference discussed the evolving geo-strategic environment and progress of anti-terror operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

The ISPR said that the forum paid rich tribute to Martyrs of Pakistan on the eve of Defence and Martyrs Day 2018.

The COAS directed that field formation should reach out to families of martyrs in their respective areas as mark of respect and acknowledgment of their great sacrifices.

The Defence and Martyrs Day 2018 will be celebrated on September 6 (Thursday) as a national day to commemorate in the memory of Pakistan’s successful defence against arch rivals India that marked the ceasefire in the 1965 war, and to pay tributes to martyrs.
