National2 Pakistani Civilians martyred, 2 injured in Indian firing: ISPR

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Two Pakistani Civilians embraced Shahadat (Martyrdom) while two others including a woman suffered injuries as a result of Indian firing along the of Line of Control (LoC).

In a press release issued on Saturday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Indian troops undertook firing in Hotspring, Tatta Pani and Jandrot Sectors along the LoC.

The ISPR said that the injured persons have been evacuated to a hospital in Kotli.

It said that Pakistan army troops gave a befitting response by targeting Indian posts. It said that exchange of fire continues in sectors where India also deliberately targeted the civilian population.

The ISPR further said that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Navy (PN) continue to be alert and vigilant.

Meanwhile, reports coming from the Valley also said that India has waged an announced war against Pakistan, and heavy firing and mortar shelling by Indian troops continued in Nakiyal, Battal and Khuiratta Sectors as well.

Reports said that two persons received serious injuries in Tatta Pani and a missile fired by Indian forces hit a house near Old Eidgah in Nakiyal, which left three persons martyred and two further injured.

In addition, all communication services have been suspended in these areas.
