NationalSDPI to organize workshop on project proposal writing

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) would organize a two-day interactive workshop on project proposal writing from May 17.

The workshop is specially designed for the participants who are eager to learn writing clear, concise and winning proposal.

An official of SDPI said that writing project proposal is an art as well as it requires technical expertise. Over the years, the funding trends have changed and now a good proposal seeks research, advocacy, development, evaluation and impact assessment as part and parcel of a winning project.

The workshop would enable participants to understand all the dimensions of future projects. They also understand writing and submitting proposals.

In Pakistan, 10,000 to 15,000 proposals are submitted yearly, out of which less than 10 per cent proposals win grants. A proposals should have smart objectives, a strong beginning, well defined and elaborative body.
