  • Punjab government decides to fill 100,000 vacancies

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab government has decided to initiate the recruitment process in various departments at the earliest.

In this regard, 100,000 vacancies will be filled across the province.

Official Sources said that 33,000 recruitments will be made in School Education Department, over 12,000 in Primary Health Care Department, 6,000 in Specialized Healthcare Department, about 2,600 in Higher Education Department, 1,200 in Civil Defence, more than 4,000 in Prison Department, and more than 12,000 in Police and Border Military Police.

Meanwhile, in the context of the COVID situation which caused enormous difficulties to the youth, the Punjab government has also decided to grant two-year age relaxation to them for the Provincial Management Service (PMS) competitive examination and other announced jobs.

The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the decision of granting two-year age relaxation has been made to provide equal job opportunities to the youth.
