ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved a decrease of Rs 1.15 per unit in the power tariff for power companies on account of fuel adjustment.

The decrease in power tariff has been approved for the month of June, and would not be applicable on KESC consumers.

   

The approval made by Nepra would be sent to the ministry for water and power, and after getting approval from there, the new rates would be notified.
