Talking to VOA, spokesperson of Balochistan government Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that it is initiative of the government itself to approach NADRA to trace ghost employees.

He said that it is a criminal act and the government will make efforts to book all ghost employees and their facilitators. He said the process has been initiated with the intention to save national kitty from further loss after identification of these ghost employees.

Replying to a question as to how many posts will fall vacant after firing these ghost employees and what will be the total savings of the government, he said as these vacancies belong to the various departments e.g. education, health, water supply and communication and works etc., therefore brainstorming sessions would be needed to fill these seats.
