ISLAMABAD: Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf is being pressurized to make a deal with the government to go abroad by extensive court hearings, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) alleged on Monday.

“Musharraf is being pressurized to make a deal with the government to go abroad by extensive court hearings. But he is a brave man,” the APML Secretary General Dr Amjad told a press conference in Islamabad on Monday.

Dr Amjad said that Balochistan government and judge will be held responsible if Pervez Musharraf came under attack during appearance before an anti-terrorism court (ATC).

The APML Secretary General said that a judge of Balochistan’s ATC was adamant that Musharraf appear before the court despite serious security concerns.

He further said that meetings with Musharraf stopped immediately after new government took charge.
