Inaugurated on January 24, 2017, the Multan Metrobus is a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System in Multan, the third largest City in the Punjab.
The Multan Metro route is 18.5 kilometers (11.5 miles) long with a 12.5 kilometers (7.8 miles) elevated section.
It has 21 Bus Stations with 14 elevated stations and seven ground-level stations.
The Bus Stations have been constructed with Multan’s extreme hot and cold weather in mind. Each bus, typically, can carry 190 passengers.
Nearly 96,000 commuters use Multan Metrobus service every day.
The Multan Metrobus System has the following main features:
- Two Lane – Limited Access Corridor with Passing Lane at Stations
- Bahuddin Zakariya University (BZU) to Chowk Kumaharan (18.5 kilometers)
- 21 Stations (one center platforms each with two docking bays and level boarding, 7 at-grade and 14 elevated stations)

- Portion from Northren Bypass to BCG Chowk and Vehari Chowk to Jinnah Park is elevated (12.5 kilometers)
