In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), motorists in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will have to remain alert for the next few days as they drive out of their homes or offices etc because key roads in the two Emirates are set to be partially closed.Motorists alert as key roads in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah to remain partially closed

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi, therefore, have asked all motorists to follow the traffic signs and use alternative routes while driving to avoid traffic congestion.

In Abu Dhabi, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street will remain closed partially for maintenance works from July 22 to July 24.

Likewise, Mohammed Bin Khalifa Street and Baniyas Street in Al Ain will also be partially closed from July 22 till August 03.

Separately, according to the Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority, the partial closure will take place on the Sheikh Khalid bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Street in two phases for maintenance works.

The first phase will be July from 21 to July 25 whereas the second phase will last from July 26 till July 30.

The Sharjah Roads & Transport Authority urged motorists to use alternative roads.
