ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Met Office forecast more rains in the country and indicates that monsoon is very likely to enter in its active phase from tomorrow August 12.

According to the Met office, it would produce widespread rains with scattered heavy falls in the country during the week. Heavy at times‚ very heavy rains are expected in Islamabad‚ Punjab‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ North East Balochistan and Kashmir during Monday to Wednesday.

Cold Air associated with a fresh westerly wave is also likely to grip upper parts of the country from tomorrow. All concerned authorities have been advised to remain alert during the week‚ particularly from Monday to Wednesday
