ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Senator Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday paid glowing tribute to the hero of the September 1965 war Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed.

In his statement, the interior minister said that Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed – the recipient of highest military award of Pakistan ‘Nishan-e-Haider’ – sacrificed his precious life in the defense of the homeland.

The minister said that Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed wrote a story of courage and bravery, and that he bravely confronted the enemy and thwarted their nefarious designs.

“The nation salutes Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed,” he said.

The interior minister said that the eternal sacrifice of Major Aziz Bhatti, the guardian of the homeland, will always be remembered.

“Major Aziz Bhatti Shaheed will live in our hearts forever,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
