ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday presided over the meeting of Special Committee for International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) in Islamabad.

The Additional Secretary Ministry of Interior, Additional Secretary Ministry of Economic Affairs, Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Law and other relevant officers participated in the meeting.

In the meeting, applications regarding rejection of registration of INGOs and non-renewal of Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) were reviewed.

The Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that each application will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The minister ordered to check the documents of the concerned international NGOs. He said that INGOs should also support the Ministry of Interior and provide relevant documents in time.

Mohsin Naqvi said that all applicants will be informed after completing the scrutiny process within 15 days.
