ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz has regretted that the policy of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is anti-Pakistan from the day one, adding that Pakistan would present a dossier on Indian interference in the country at the United Nations.

Talking to media representatives in Islamabad on Tuesday, the advisor said that a meeting of the Director General Pakistan Rangers and Commander of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) would be held in New Delhi tomorrow, aimed at reducing tension on the Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundary.

   

The security advisor made it clear that the issue of the implementation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement will be raised at the meeting.

The advisor categorically said that Pakistan will hold talks with India only if the Kashmir issue is on the agenda. He said that the entire world has supported our stance that the two countries need to hold dialogue on all the outstanding issues including Kashmir.

Sartaj Aziz rejected Indian allegations about the presence of Dawood Ibrahim in Pakistan.

Moreover, he said that a befitting reply would be given to any Indian misadventure on that count.

In reply to a question, Sartaj Aziz said that the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has agreed to take steps for the restoration of bilateral trust. He said that the Afghan government has assured to strengthen the security of the Pakistan Embassy in Kabul.

Sartaj Aziz said that that the Afghan Commerce minister would visit Pakistan in November this year to explore avenues for the promotion of bilateral talks.
