Government of PakistanModi's extremist agenda a real threat to regional peace: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reiterated that the extremist agenda of the Modi government in India is a real and present threat to peace in our region.

In a series of tweets on Monday, the prime minister said that the continuing silence of the Modi government on the call at an extremist Hindutva Summit in December 2021 for the genocide of minorities in India, especially the 200 million Muslim community, begs the question of whether the BJP government supports this call.

“It is high time the international community took note & acted,” Imran Khan wrote.

The prime minister said that under the extremist ideology of the BJP Modi government, all religious minorities in India have been targeted with impunity by Hindutva groups.

In a three-day Summit held in Haridwar City of Indian northern Uttarakhand State from December 17 to 19, the Hindu monks backed by the ruling BJP demanded Rohingya-like mass murder of Indian Muslims and their exodus from India.
